We love all our helpers and members of our team, from those who support us over the weekends, to those who are involved in planning months in advance. We literally cannot bring the weekends without them.

Venue and Entertainment team
We’re looking for a team of volunteers to help host our evening entertainment in The Venue, providing entertainment for 100’s of young people!
🎤 Introduce our awesome bands, shows, and acts!
👩🎤 Lead the on-stage antics, keeping young people entertained between performances
⏰ Make sure our performers are in the right place, at the right time
The Venue is our entertainment space for young people at S&E – it’s where the party happens! As the sun sets, The Venue comes alive with music, games, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Think live acts, talent shows, big crowd games, and the kind of chaos that only happens when Scouts let loose at camp.
What entertainment is on offer?
Over the years, The Venue has played host to an epic mix of acts and antics – here’s just a taste of what’s hit the stage:
🔥 Fire Eaters lighting up the night (and leaving jaws on the floor) with blazing, breath-stealing stunts
🚴♂️ BMX Riders flipping, flying, and defying gravity just metres from the crowd
🤹♂️ Stilt-Walkers towering above the crowd, weaving through the venue like circus legends
🌟 The Legendary Talent Show where Scouts become stars and the unexpected always happens
🎸 Live Bands cranking out tunes that get everyone on their feet and singing along
🕹️ Giant Party Games bringing oversized chaos, loud laughter, and a lot of friendly competition
Who are we looking for?
We’re building a high-energy dream team to bring The Venue to life! From crowd-hyping entertainers to smooth-operating stage managers and charismatic comperes, we need passionate people who thrive on fun, love live action, and aren’t afraid to be a little loud (or a lot ridiculous). If you’ve got the energy, the creativity, and a love for making unforgettable moments happen — this is your stage.
