As chosen by you at last year’s event, this year’s theme is all about the amazing forces and elements that make our world work — and you’ll get to explore them in the most exciting way possible!Â
Join us as you journey through four magical science zones:Â
🌟 Light Zone – Make colours dance, chase shadows, and explore the glow and sparkle of the world around you!Â
đź’¨ Wind & Air Zone – Launch things into the sky, feel the power of air, and play with breeze-powered challenges!Â
🌊 Wave & Water Zone – Splash into watery wonders, explore waves and motion, and discover what water can really do!Â
🌍 Earth Zone – Build, crumble and create as you uncover the secrets of the ground beneath your feet!Â
What is discover?
Your day begins with an exciting, high-energy opening ceremony, before you head off to explore each zone with your friends. At lunchtime, sit back and enjoy your packed lunch with entertainers roaming and making you laugh, and at the end of the day, we’ll all come together again for a fun-packed closing ceremony full of laughter and dancing.Â
It’s a whole day of hands-on experiments, big discoveries, and amazing adventures — perfect for Squirrels, Rainbows, Beavers, and Brownies!Â

FAQs
After an amazing event in 2025, we are aiming to have 400 participants for Discover in 2026.Â
To give our young Discoverers the best day ever, we need one extra volunteer adult to sign up as a base leader for every 10 young people in your group.
Without enough volunteers, we simply can’t run this amazing event!
But don’t worry—helping out isn’t just about keeping things running, it’s about being part of the fun! You’ll get to join in the excitement, support young people as they try new activities, and be part of the laughs, games, and magic of the day. We’ll make it easy for you! Volunteers will pick a role from our Job Shop, and we’ll provide everything you need—so you can jump in, have fun, and make a difference!
So, rally your grown-ups (parent helpers too), sign up, and help us make Discover an unforgettable adventure! 🚀🎉
We are asking everyone to bring a packed lunch with their favourite food in.
